When there aren’t enough hours in the day, it’s easy to lose sight of the things you love about social media. For us, that means being creative and sharing our own authentic stories.
We created The Retreat as a small, collaborative event for bloggers and other social media influencers who want to refresh their creative energy, and brush up on their content creation skills.
“I arrived at The Retreat knowing no-one and left with lots of new friends, gaining new skills and with a big smile on my face.
There were no cliques unlike other events I’ve been to and everyone was really friendly.”
“This was the best blogger event I have attended. I learned so many technical things about my camera and met some fantastic bloggers! Thanks to the great team”
“I booked The Retreat mostly because I was curious last year, and it was worth every penny.
The sessions were of the highest standard, the speakers true experts in their field and the less structured photography lessons a great opportunity to ask questions to professional photographers”
“I loved everything about this inspiring retreat. I learnt so much on a practical level and the small group seminars meant that I felt confident enough to push myself creatively. Thank you to the team for such a brilliant weekend. ”
LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT
“Having small group sessions with professionals was the real difference between this and other blogging conferences. I left feeling completely inspired. ”
“I am glad I gave myself the space to do The Retreat. I won’t lie, I really wasn’t sure it was what I needed, but I found myself surrounded by truly lovely people, given headspace by some amazing yoga, soothed by a beautiful setting and then seemed to stumble into exactly the right workshops for me.”
“The Retreat was warm, unpretentious, creative and friendly. I made new friends and reconnected with old ones. I laughed so much and talked and walked and photographed and wrote and well, just all my favourite things. Rejuvenating!”
“This blogger event is like no other I've been to. I've learned skills that I've actually used - properly - and not just forgotten about as soon as I've got home. There were also plenty of chances to talk to the people you were with without feeling rushed or like you missed someone.”
“I normally shy away from blogger events but this is one that I'll come back to again and again!
Not only did I meet an amazing group of people and learn more than I thought I could possibly learn in a weekend, I also came away remembering exactly why I love blogging”
