The perfect view while you enjoy a coffee in the orangery

Set in the heart of the North Somerset countryside, Croydon Hall is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

With six acres of gardens to explore, you won’t be short of inspiring views to capture during your visit. Take a seat, play games on the lawn, or just relax in the rose garden with a cup of coffee, after your morning yoga session.

We think you’ll love the drawing room with its large, comfortable sofas and open fire. It’s the perfect spot to chat with friends. When it comes to meal times, there’s a large dining room and a spacious lounge and bar for after-dinner drinks.

If the weather is good, guests can enjoy a drink on the patio or garden terrace, and the on-site spa is the perfect spot to really relax. The gardens offer amazing views over the Exmoor Hills, and there are plenty of garden games to enjoy.

At the end of a long-day you could take advantage of the spa and hot tub, or perhaps settle down in the TV lounge for some relaxation.

Shared bedrooms are simple and pretty

Bedrooms at Croydon Hall are simple, and mostly twin and triple rooms. Many rooms have en-suite bathrooms, but you may find some bathrooms shared between two bedrooms. A small number of single occupancy rooms are also available.

Once you’ve booked a room at The Retreat, we’ll get in touch to find out who you’d like to share a room with – and if you need help finding a room-mate, we can help, through our Retreat Facebook Group, where you can find someone to share a room with, as well as arrange car-pools and meeting points. Not to mention it’s a great way to get to know your fellow guests before the event starts.

Please note that bed linen, towels, soap and shampoo are provided in all bathrooms.

Croydon Hall is located 5km from the historic village of Dunster, and just 7km from Minehead.

A great venue in the ultimate location.
